Seit Jahrzehnten setzen sich Menschen für die Gleichstellung von LSBTIQ* in der Evangelischen Kirche ein. In großen Teilen, wenn auch nicht in allen Landeskirchen, ist deren Durchsetzung gelungen. Diesem Erfolg aktivistischen Engagements steht eine überwiegend von heteronormativen Traditionen geprägte Praktische Theologie gegenüber, welche die Ausbildung und Berufspraxis von Pfarrer*innen weiterhin prägt. Die Beiträger*innen zeigen unter Berücksichtigung aktueller Forschungsergebnisse professionstheoretische Herausforderungen und Potenziale für die Bereiche Seelsorge, Gottesdienst, Pastoraltheologie sowie Ökumene auf. Zusätzlich reflektieren sie die Befunde queertheologisch und geben so neue Impulse für die Praxis.
