I consider this to be a very fascinating mystery/crime book and one of the first stories which actually incorporated the internet without being too cheesy, unrealistic or forgetting the plot while playing with the internet.
The characters neither boring nor flat. The book shows how the anonymity of the internet can help people but also temp them and be a great danger.
I really wish that more people would be able to read it. Unfortunately, it is out-of-print and even the updated re-release (Chat'n'kill) is not printed anymore.
Note: It's a german book and seems mainly targeted to younger readers (though not children) but still I consider it worth reading for adults, too.
Unglueing this book might help readers discovering the author and might lead them to her more recent books. As there is a newer "version" available, ungluing the "older" version seems fairer.
