Zeit ist eine Dimension sozialpädagogischen Handelns, sozialpädagogischer Forschung und Theoriebildung. Dennoch wird der ›temporal turn‹ der Sozial- und Kulturwissenschaften im sozialpädagogischen Diskurs bisher kaum aufgegriffen. Der Band geht sozialpädagogischen Zeitdiagnosen und einem ›doing time‹ im Sinne einer sozialen Herstellung von Zeit ebenso nach wie Relationierungen von Gegenwart, Vergangenheit und Zukunft. Diese Relationierungen werden sowohl in disziplinären Entwicklungen als auch auf individuell biografischer Ebene von Adressat*innen und Fachkräften verfolgt.
