The third conference volume of the “Göttingen Colloquia on the Digitalisation of Civil Procedure Law” is published for the first time as a double conference volume and includes pieces of the digitalisation colloquia of summer term 2022 and winter term 2022-23. The colloquia series of summer term 2022 dealt with the topics “Why Digitalisation?”, “Digitalisation aspects of the new European Regulation on the taking of evidence in civil or commercial matters and European Service Regulation”, as well as “"New Paths in Electronic Communication with the Courts.” In this volume, the authors trace the latest developments in the digitalisation of civil procedure law at both the national and international level with their innovative and highly up-to-date contributions. The colloquia of winter term 2022-23 were characterised by the much debated and controversial topics “Electronic Basic Document” and “AI in Judicial Decision-Making.” The colloquia series was concluded by the colloquium on the “Challenges of Procedural Law Digitalisation.” The authors’ practical and dogmatic contributions can be found in the second part of this double conference volume.
